Why is a fixed price contract sometimes optional?
In all cases your contract for the actual construction will be fixed home buuilding price. However, there are some sites that are what we term 'risk' sites.
This means that the likelihood or extent of rock cannot reasonably be pre-assessed from either the surrounding geography or soil reports.
In such a situation,we can still provide a fixed price contract but may suggest to you that it maybe to your financial benefit to have a rock clause.
In such circumstance, we will always adviseyou in advance. Our objective is to provideyou with the best and fairest contract possible.
